Meet Prof. Anjay Rastogi

Prof. Anjay Rastogi grew up in Jaipur. As a boy, he watched people queue up outside his house every day. These people had nothing. His father, a renowned doctor in the community, treated them for free. In thanks, they gave his father mangoes, eggs, milk – which he then redistributed amongst his patients.

Now a respected physician in his own right as Clinical Chief of Nephrology at UCLA Health, Prof. Anjay Rastogi lives by the fundamental principles of medicine he learnt as a child: dignity, humanity, generosity.
